No bikini, but I’m a cover girl!
Thanks to Affaire de Coeur for making me the January/February author of the month, and for putting together such an awesome issue. (And you can subscribe online and download the issue!)
The article talks about the Blood Lily Chronicles (TAINTED, TORN & TURNED) and me in general. Check it out!

I’m just boggled by one of the other articles mentioned on the cover. “Amish Romance” almost sounds like an oxymoron.

Regarding “Amish Romance”: although it’s not a sub-genre I have expereince with, I imagine it’s got the potential to be plenty hot. Sort of like this, maybe:
Heidi had taken Bossie’s firm, warm teats in her dainty hands, and was just beginning to squeeze the warm, white liquid out of each one when a voice benind her said, “Heidi, I would speak with thee.”
She started, but stood up from the milkling stool and turned, to see Lars standing in the barn’s doorway. Tall, blonde Lars, whose big hands, with their long, thick fingers gave Heidi such an odd feeling whenever she gazed upon them.
“Lars!” she exclaimed. I was just jerk — uh milking Bossie. I thought of you for some reason, and now here you stand.” She smiled shyly. “I must be witched.”
“No, Heidi, ’tis I who is bewitched. With thee.” Lars swallowed visibly, then said, “Heidi, I would know thee. I can bear it no longer.”
Heidi’s hands flew to her blushing face. “But Lars, I am yet a maiden, and know noting of men! Well, hardly anything. Just a little, if last weekend doth count.”
Lars fixed his steely blue eyes upon her. “I know thou’rt a maiden Heidi, but I grow a throbbing hoe handle in my britches whenever thou doth pass by. And, truth be told–” His voice quivered, a little. “I am weary of milking my own udder whilst I think of thee.”
THE MAN WHO DROVE HER BUGGY, now available at bookstores everywhere.
Or not.

Justin, that excerpt of yours is venturing dangerously close to an even bigger oxymoron — Amish Porn.
