“Author Julie Kenner has written the perfect teen novel” – Awwww!  Don’t you love it when you’re not having a particularly great week and then folks say nice things about you?  I’ve got approximately 8 million emails in my inbox, and despite the All Powerful And Wonderful iPhone, I am seriously backlogged, mostly because I’ve just been so busy dealing with stuff for my mom, and even reading/replying on an iPhone takes time (though I will say with all my driving back and forth to the rehab hospital in The Big City (Georgetown only seems far from Austin when you’re driving it every day!), my iPhone is getting quite a workout.  I’m listening to ATLAS SHRUGGED.  And what was going to be a lifelong listen (this is a 70ish hour audiobook!) is going pretty fast!

Point being, I’m trying to plow through a chunk tonight, and this made me smile!

Author Julie Kenner has written the perfect teen novel or, I guess I should say, the sequel to it, since it is the second book in her “Ghouls” series. Good Ghouls Do has a main character, Beth Frasier, who is a cheerleader, valedictorian, popularity queen although she keeps saying she is not, and a vampire. She has the cutest boyfriend in the high school and a hot college guy trying hard to win her love. But, you know what they say, if something is too good to be true . . .
